Hi everybody,

I just found this forum with no thanks to Google. Rolling Eyes I found a link to here from somone's signature on petlovers.com.

I consider myself to be a self-taught professional dog trainer. I have learned mostly by reading books and practicing on rescue dogs.

The rescue dogs I have worked with had issues ranging basic bad manners to extreme shyness to possessive aggression. Training and helping to rehabilitate these dogs has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I cannot keep any dogs right now, but I have fostered rescue dogs. My favorites were Aaron, Rocks, and Sugar. (Click on the pictures below for larger images.)

Maybe I'll post some stories about these dogs if I ever get around to writing them.

Welcome! I help my grandmother train dogs for disabled people. What is petlovers.com?

Petlovers.com is another pet forum. I did not join that site because it has way too much activity for me to keep up with. I guess with well over 20 thousand members, that's to be expected, but I prefer sites where I can keep up with what is going on.

That's cool that you help train service dogs. It is something I've considered. I'm not sure why, but I tend to gravitate towards aggressive dogs, but they usually don't make very good service dogs. Can't imagine why... Wink

I just visited petshub.com. I didn't like it too much. I found it littered with pop-ups, pop-unders, floating banners, and redirected pages. I guess some forum members like a few posts with the advertising. Rolling Eyes

I don't mind advertising at all when it is set up as part of the page (like it is here), but it's quite irritating when it interferes with using the site. IMHO, it compromises the site's integrity.

petshub.com was the first site I registered to. The people there have pop up blockers so that they don't even know there are pop ups.
I am registered to too many forums though.
