Meet Sophie

She is 2 yr old siamese, deluted tortishell mix. I adopted her from the humane society about 4 months after my first cat passed. I had had her for 17 yrs and my parents had her for almost 2 yrs before I was born. I got Sophie to fill the cat void I had been feeling. I'd never gone without a cat before.

Sophie talks non stop, unless she is sleeping or you give her turkey. She picks on the dogs...mainly the boys since they are smaller than her...lol. And she is FAT. But she plays all the time.

I like that cat. I couldn't live without cats but I don't have any pets. I get so many visits from the neborhood cats. Smile

She is sweet. You could do anything to her and she would never lift a paw. I pick her up and cuddle her like a baby and she meows in protest, but then comes back for more...silly kitty. Here are some more pics of her...(and some where she is being cuddled)

Her fav sleeping spot:

Not sure why she was using this:

And I had just cleaned these:

Before:

After (I couldn't resist):

Her other sleeping spot...and fav sleeping position:

Her face as she sleeps:

And she denies this ever happened:

So cute!! I love it when cats lay on their backs, Tina my oldest does that and now Smokey, our youngest, is learning it from her.

nope. You can pick her up and squeeze and cuddle her and rub your nose on hers and scratch her belly and she wont scratch or slap at you. She is a pushover. I think it is because she knows she was rescued so she won't scratch or bite due to that.
