We have quite a few rabbits, most of them rescued or given to us by folks who no longer could care for their bunnies. Many we keep, others we adopted out when the bunny is ready and the new owners up to speed on how to care for a rabbit. We have had some litters but perfer to get a rabbit nuetered before this happens.
We have quite a mix and cross mix of breeds. Some of the varieties are Hotot, New Zealand Giant, Florida Whites, Dutch, Dutch Lop, French Lop and three Rex. Most are nuetered and those who are not are kept seperated from the oppisite sex.
We love rabbits and consider it a blessing when we rescued our first pair. They were Easter, a Hotot and Explorer, a Dutch. they produced three fine litters and made lots of people very happy, a nieghbor adopted five of them. Sadly during what was to be her last pregnancy Easter suddenly died. But her genes live on, we have many a bunny with black or grey rings around the eyes, oh, Easter had blue eyes and that results in us having some blue eyed bunnies. _________________ Shelley R Booth
